It was as usual a great car wash experience although there was a big recent bird shit on the bonnet which didn't really come off or indeed at all, but at least I got all the tree seeds off. I hope they are carried away through the drains and plant themselves somewhere, I don't wish them ill, just want them off my car. Which by the way is driving like a dream now but I am still a bit nervous since the brakes failed.

monday morning
We have to take the car to the mechanics as it is pumping burnt oil fumes into itself after one drives it for about five minutes. I am trying to write something for the Australian (not about that) wish me luck.

goodbye old scourge, hello new
So we went out for a walk this afternoon and got quite a bit of good research done. One thing we found particularly interesting (I mean, the power of a good sturdy blog or what!?) was that the car I bitched about last week, is now gone.
However unfortunately we have instead encountered a rash of trolleys.
Memo to self call Hume Council Monday AM and get them to move these things.

in your car by the dugites
Well of course I would love this.
I note - this is *important* - that this is a hit record, like Ted Mulry's Jump in my car, where it is emphasised that the primary enjoyment about being in a car with a desirable person of the opposite sex is, in fact, that you are able to drive somewhere.
The drumming is incredible. The drummer doesn't try to mime it, how could he in that situation, but he is fucken engaging in the clip.
