estella st - 2

I don't know who F. McCartney was, or why he preferred Tasmanians to make his or her hamburgers. My interest in 3 Estella St was really that it is the address on the back of an LP I have of the Phillip Street Revue from 1960. The Manns aren't listed in the Sands and McDougall directory for 1960 as living in Estella St but they are there in the 1965 one.

There's a very interesting documentary here about the Score label, which I recommend. Here are some other weird bits and pieces about Score, the Manns and Discurio.

Bet this one's a cracker. Age 21 March 1958 p. 2
Age 3 November 1969 p. 16. I wonder when the Age stopped calling women by their husband's name.
Age 2 April 1971 p. 38

3 Estella St was demolished in I think the late 1960s. It's flats now.
