i really like this tom bass statue in elizabeth street

I have Tom Bass's book about himself somewhere but can't presently put my finger on it.

One of my favourites too. Also, across the road from is is the mural of the Mazda Globes cat. In the last couple of years half of the old mural was painted over (the bit that had the 'Mazda Globes' text), but I'm pleased to say the cat was left intact.
The Mazda globes cat ad was also in the film I saw, which I think was called Focus on Melbourne and from 1966. The year you were born Wayne.
You can also see the Mazda Globes cat very clearly in one of the opening scenes of On The Beach. This was made before either you or I were born.
