i don't ask for this

I promise I do nothing at all on fb to invite this kind of attention - friend requests from people with ridiculously made up names, and I mean ridiculously, I mean, obviously overtly ridiculous. The people usually identify as male, as well, which I'm going to say superficially speaking at least is somewhat counteracted by their pictures. But it's the insane names that intrigue me the most! Anyway, I just delete them as soon as they come up - no I don't, obviously, I screenshot them first because otherwise no-one would believe me. I am sure there's a rationale for it, though - like, they're memorable or just hilarious or something so when men actually connect to this kind of thing and are later challenged for linking up  with some kind of porn or e-sex site we can say 'oh that? I actually thought it was my mate Larry Scrymgeour, he's hilarious'. No, I'm lost, I have no idea what the thinking is behind this stuff, but I assume it works (or it works one time out of a thousand, and that's enough).

These stopped appearing for a few months, I only noticed when they started again yesterday. It feels like trolling tbh. But I suppose at least the name 'Grimmera Kammerer' gave me a momentary chuckle. Incidentally Kammerer is apparently a real surname, but there seems to be no real person in the world with the first name Grimmera, which is a shame.

The long-suffering expression on Murray-Prioru's face is depressing.

They'd be much more appealing with 'Mad As Hell' style names - Dementia Popcorn, Parralax Haicienda, Bunty Savoury Bakes etc...
